PD Dinner Series | Listen to Your Heart: Women’s Heart Health & Prevention Sponsored by Ascension Health (04/22/2026)

Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women, yet symptoms often present differently than they do in men. Knowing what to look for, and how to be proactive, can save lives.

Join Professional Dimensions for an informative and empowering dinner program led by Sasanka N. Jayasuriya, MD, an interventional cardiologist at Ascension Wisconsin Columbia St Mary's in Milwaukee. Dr. Jayasuriya is board-certified in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiology, and vascular ultrasonography, and is known for her patient-centered approach to care.

Dr. Jayasuriya will guide our group through a presentation on how women’s heart disease symptoms differ from men’s, how to recognize warning signs, and steps women can take to be proactive about their heart health. The evening will include a facilitated tabletop discussions and a Q&A session for deeper conversation and connection.

The April 2026 dinner program is sponsored by Ascension Health, a corporate member of Professional Dimensions.

Wisconsin Club Partnership: We are honored to host this program at the Wisconsin Club, a venue that reflects the progress and leadership we strive to advance. We are inspired by Kathie Eilers, the first woman to serve as President of the Wisconsin Club Board of Directors, and by our esteemed PD member, Lou Koval, who continues to serve with distinction on the board. Professional Dimensions is committed to reinforcing women’s leadership as a model for others to aspire to. We recognize that creating meaningful change requires our active and courageous support, and we are proud to embody that commitment here.

A Hub for Convening: As we grow, we hope to leverage the Wisconsin Club as a physical gathering space for our organization. Many PD women are members of the Wisconsin Club, and we’re excited to offer tours at the conclusion of each program to invite more to join!

Progressive Dinners: We facilitate progressive dinners, a dynamic and engaging format designed to foster deeper connections. With each course—appetizer, entrée, and dessert—participants rotate to a new table with a different group of women. This structure encourages more meaningful conversations in smaller, topic-aligned groups while ensuring attendees interact with a diverse mix of people throughout the evening.

Join us for an inspiring luncheon of connection, conversation, and community as Professional Dimensions brings together women leaders and allies for a dynamic panel discussion featuring leaders from three impactful organizations in our region.

Through their work, our panelists are shaping inclusive leadership, strengthening communities, and expanding access to opportunity. Together, they will explore how expanding perspective can deepen impact—personally, professionally, and collectively.

Join us on the second Wednesday of each month as we collaborate with the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and Thrive On King for a Community-Curated Lunch Series. This unique hybrid event format offers our members the flexibility to join us in person at the newly remodeled Thrive On King venue or virtually, all while enjoying a dynamic live discussion and lunch provided by a local woman-owned BIPOC catering service.

Real-Time Broadcast & Live Discussion: The programs will be recorded and broadcast in real-time, ensuring that our members can access them conveniently. This allows you to engage with the content as it unfolds, no matter where you are. Each program will feature a captivating live discussion with an engaged studio audience, ensuring an interactive and enlightening experience.
Local BIPOC Vendor: We're proud to support local BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) businesses by providing lunch prepared by a dedicated catering service. Your fee for in-person attendance covers the cost of this meal.

Parking: Participants are encourage to park in the structure. Parking structure and building entrance address: 320 W. Lloyd St. It is on the corner of W. Lloyd St and Vel R. Phillips Ave.

Virtual registration is entirely free, allowing you to enjoy the event from your own device. Please note that no lunch will be provided for virtual attendees. However, you will have the opportunity to engage in the discussions, ask questions, and connect with fellow virtual participants.

Join Professional Dimensions for our 5th Annual Past Presidents Luncheon as we celebrate what PD uniquely represents to its members and to the greater Milwaukee community.

As we approach our 50th Anniversary in just two short years, this luncheon will explore the evolution of Professional Dimensions’ leadership, honoring the past, present, and future leaders who have shaped our organization.

Led by Past President Ginny Finn and some of PD's most intriguing Past Presidents, members will gather in fellowship and engage in meaningful tabletop discussions reflecting on PD’s 50-year imprint and the role each of us plays in shaping its future.

PD July Dinner: Golf Fun - Birdies & Besties (07/29/2026)

PD has created an exciting and inclusive golf event designed with every woman in mind—whether you’re a seasoned golfer or a complete beginner. This is a relaxed, welcoming environment with plenty of ways to connect, have fun, and try something new.

Thanks to our PD member and inside woman Heather Ott, the Wisconsin Country Club is truly rolling out the red carpet for us. From socializing on the patio to learning how to swing a club, there’s something for everyone.

Event kicks off at 4:00 PM with check-in, name tags, drinks, and delicious heavy appetizers. We'll have brief remarks around 4:30 PM before diving into the activities.

Choose your own golf adventure:

Chill on the patio or in the Clubhouse with great company and refreshments
Try the putting green for a lighthearted short-game experience (think mini-golf without the windmill). A Golf pro will be on-site to teach the game!
Visit the driving range to practice your long game
Play a 9-hole round by booking a tee time through registration

Tee Times Available:

Early afternoon (1:30–2:00 PM)
Early evening (5:10 PM and later)

Ticket: 9-Hole Round of Golf – $60 per person (includes cart)
